Here's one thing people are overlooking about the end of Nolani. Rurik was banished and the king then asked us to go with him and make sure he was safe. Also all the Lich would have had to do is gather an undead army large enough to distract the Mursaat at the ring of fire long enough for him to sneak in and open the door of Komalie himself.

One could argue that our actions have saved Ascalon and allowed Adelbern to hold out as long as he has. Exposing the Titan "Gods" as frauds has split Charr society, they aren't the unified dominating force they were in the beginning because of our actions.

If ya see my previous Post, yes Ascalon is still standing (at the time prophecies campaign begins) due to King Adelbern however bit by bit the Ascalons are losing ground Its time was limited, Adelbern is too afriad to bring the fight to the Charr and it was destroying the Kingdom, however all this changes after he discovers his Son’s death, the shock of the lose rekindles his warrior spirit and his Will strengthens and as the Threat of the Titans appears he has changed enough to decide to take it upon himself to stop them (which we help with) he also then begins the War on the Charr with a new vigor in honor of Rurik and so Orders The Vanguard north. The Key point here is Adelbern was once a good king but the loses from the Searing had driven him into Fear, and so Until Ruriks Death Ascalon was a crippled and Doomed Nation, it would take the lose of Ascalons shining Star (Rurik) that snapped him out of his fear and finally beginning the retalliation against the Charr.

Also in destroying the Charr he destroyed Orr which, if i'm not mistaken was the thing he seeked to proctect from the Charr?
The reasons he killed the Charr is because it Weakened the Charr race wiping out presumably hundreds of Charr and destroying the City of Arr (the City of the Gods) aswell and annihilating the Orr Kingdom. The Vizier had been gradually corrupted by one of Abaddons Demons who co-erced him into reading the scroll. The Bonus effect of this were all the souls killed in the explosion were tainted from the touch of Abaddon and thusgiving him large amounts of souls that he could use to Power himself and his forces (such as the Titans who were made from tainted souls) This then causes his powers to grow, thus allowing him to strain against the Doors of the Prison (the Door of Komalie) and thus causing the Mursaat to find additional means of keeping the Door closed.(Sacrificing human souls) Abaddon cared little for the Charr, they used them and weakened them so when Abaddon forces came through there would be no single army that could stand against them. As for the Titans no he commandered them in the mortal realm under Orders of Abaddon, The sceptre of Orr is what allowed the Titans to materialise in the physical realm.

Shiverpeaks was breaking apart in a civil war and we decided to help one side just beacause we liked them.

Chapter 2:
Ok, i have to admit that Shiro overeacted. But at the end all he was trying to get his revange, but killing a lot of people was very selfish of his part. At his point of view, the emperor himself betrayed Shiro, so he wanted to kill the emperor and get back. Its a shame Abbadon used him u.
Urgoz got very andry becasue the humans screwed up his forest and we killed him and his followers.

Chapter 3:
This one is kind of sad, specially for the margonites.
From what i know, the margonites used to live at the Crystal Desert and worshiped Abbadon, because it was their god and all. But one day Abbadon started to think differently from the other gods and they had a 5 on 1 struggle . Well, we all know he didnt stood a chance against them all. They opened a hole in the ground, shoved Abbadon in it and the margonites along with him.
I dont know about you, but i wouldnt want to go to the Realm of Torment just because the other gods didint liked ours... i mean... wtf?
Obviously Abbadon didnt liked the idea either. The margonites wanted and tryed to get back to their home, and then what happened? We killed most of them, we DESTROYED their gods and put another one WE wanted. Not beeing enough, we went to their "new" home and killed them all and everyone that our new god didint liked, including Dhuum's followers that also didint wanted to be there.
Now take a look at the big picture! Holy shit! We are BAD!
Ascalon was never the home of the Charr, the Charr were ordered by there Gods ( who they believed were the titans) to Destroy the Blasphemous humans. We helped the Dwarves of the shiverpeaks not because we liked them but because there enemies were Xenophobic and hated all non Dwarves ie Us. Remember – An enemy of my enemy is my Friend .

Shiro did just overreact he was corrupted by Abaddon s Demon (the Oracle) who fuelled him with Rage and Abaddon used his powers to Infuse shiro with a Powerful Death Nova that would would later help fuel Abaddons ends. Urgotz wasn’t angry at the humans, he was corrupted, the entire Forrest was warped my the Jade Wind, it turned to stone, likewise Urgotz heart turned to Stone and he cared no longer for the indigenous races of the Forest except the ones under his control and so he tried to Destroy the others.

The Margonites were the favoured race of Abaddon, he gifted them with Magic against the wishes of the other Gods. This gave the Margonites Domination over the Other creatures of Tryia. The Gods gifted the other races with Magic to compensate and full scale war broke out all over Tryia, creature against creature it became Chaos. The Gods wanted to remove the magic from Tryia but Abaddon was unwilling to remove the power from the Margonites and he attempted to get the Margonites to Usurp the Gods. The Gods used there powers to weaken the magic of the Races an idea given to the by King Doric by creating the Bloodstones. And as they did so They weakened and captured Abaddon and cast him and his followers to the Eternal Prison in the Underworld. (aka the realm of Torment) so that they may never again create such Chaos across the lands of Tryia. After the second and final defeat of Abaddon and the rise of Koromir the Remaining forces of Abaddon and some deserters of the other failed “Gods” (Dhuum and Menzies) rallied behind Mallynx and were attempting to give Mallyx the Power of Abaddon to restore the Dark Lord to Power once again. We foiled this attempt and restored Peace across the lands of Tryia.

.... Hmph.

If I'd had the option.... I'd have well and truly sided with the Mursaat against those ignorant gimps of the Shining Blade.

I mean... sure... the Mursaat were acting out of fear of the flameseeker prophecies.... BUT... the enemy of my enemy is my friend, as they say.
They were impatient and fearful, and suspected that the old gods weren't doing anything.... and perhaps the old gods weren't doing anything because none of the Mursaat had thought to try Ascending themselves.

Given the choice, I would have tried reasoning with the Mursaat and tried to get them to bargain with the old gods and get their favour. Then it would have been a simple matter of taking Abaddon's influence out of Tyria and leaving the Mursaat to guard it while my lot went back to sort their homeland of Cantha out (and eventually move on to Elona).

As for Ascalon.... I couldn't care less. I have two Ascalonian characters and one is still in pre-searing. Ghost of Cot Death doesn't give a damn about the fate of Ascalon either. Nubrik and Adled-brains are both idiots.
When Cot Death left there.... it was because on one side Nubrik just wanted to run away like the defiant brat he was and take Ascalon with him.... while Adled-brains had nothing on his mind but constantly fighting the enemy head-on... unknowing of what was backing them up. It fell to US to fix the problems.... and King Adled-brain is STILL just bashing heads endlessly with the Charr... quite probably completely oblivious to the fact that he is only alive because we cut out the root of the problem.
I reckon both the Ascalonians and the Charr need a good old slap round the face now and a reminder that the causes for which they're fighting are bloody irrelevant now.

I want to play a Mursaat.
At the very least I want a Mursaat hero on my side.
Anyone who has ever watched anime should know that they're basically Anti-Heroes just waiting for redemption... and we have been denied the oppurtunity to offer them just that.

Just like the crusades or almost all wars in the ancient age, sometimes a war just for the sake of a war is good stuff. Think of yourself like Attila the Hun, heroically pillaging and plundering the whole world, remembered for thousands of years.
What is best in life?

To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women.
